Residents in a residential care home require assistance with personal care tasks and seek relief from daily responsibilities such as cleaning and cooking. In contrast, residents in a nursing home have diverse medical requirements that necessitate round-the-clock medical care provided by nurses. As a nursing home, we ensure the presence of a nurse on duty throughout each 24-hour shift.
We maintain a minimum staffing level of 5 employees during the day, excluding one-to-one care, and 3 staff members during nighttime hours. Additionally, we have a dedicated cook, cleaner, activities coordinator, and two registered managers on our team.
We maintain an open-door policy for visitors starting from 10:30 am onwards. To ensure a peaceful environment, we kindly request that visitors avoid the mealtime hours of 12-1 pm and 5-6 pm whenever possible, unless they are assisting with meal-related activities.
We have recently transitioned from a paper-based care planning system to a digital platform. Our staff members are available to thoroughly discuss and review care plans with you or your loved one on a regular basis, making adjustments as needed.
We warmly welcome pet visitations, provided that the animals are well-behaved and leashed.
Laundry services are provided; however, please note that the facility does not assume responsibility for any lost or damaged clothing items.
